Are exams compulsory?
Whilst we would never force a child to take exams, progression through the school is by examination. It is not the examination day alone which is important. The preparation for any examination, focused exam classes and practice at home, ensure the student is physically and technically prepared for what is required in the subsequent grade. Each examination stage is carefully targeted towards the pupil’s specific age and ability, with younger children being accompanied into the exam room by the teacher.
Do you offer private lessons?
Private lessons are available on request.
What age can my child start lessons?
Our pre-school ballet class is suitable for children 3 – 4 years old. Children approaching their 3rd birthday are welcome to come along for a free trial lesson.
What should I wear for my trial lesson?
Uniform is not compulsory for trial lessons. Wear anything you are comfortable moving in with hair tied back where it will. Please remove all jewellery.
